For the record...
...I am aware that Preity Zinta's character in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna has my name -- exactly as I spell it, too. At least 50 people have either emailed me or begun a conversation with "Hey, do you know that in KANK.." Yes, I do know!
The bottom line is that KJo stole my identity for his movie. Not only does Preity have my name, she's in the magazine/fashion world AND lives in New York.
Honestly, I think the least he could've done was offer me the part to play myself (well, myself + future husband and child). I just hope I have better taste in husbands when the time comes.

Yes, I thought about it. I have quite strong views about Karan Johar movies. Before I let my views on air, do you like his brand of movie making? Just Curious..

vinayakan: i have a lot of patience for karan johar movies. i like the clothes and the songs and the fact that they're watchable -- even when they're not believable. and of course, a lot to be said for "star power" in his films.
that said, i do think that he is much too intelligent to be making unchallenging movies like this.. but hey, he makes money!
and i really liked DDLJ and Kal Ho Na Ho. KANK, i admit, was disappointing.
